IEA Editorial and Research Fellow Professor Len Shackleton has penned an op-ed for The Telegraph arguing that the implementation of an increased  National Living Wage will add costs to already struggling sectors like hospitality and retail.

Len argued that: “Getting lower-skilled workers back into employment must be a priority for the next few years, and higher minimum wages won’t help“.
