In an opinion article for The Telegraph, she argued the state should not impose regulation on firms and trust employers and employees to work out their own working arrangements. Annabel said: “Firms already offer flexible working when they deem it makes sense, but the fact that only 30pc of jobs involved some form of it before the pandemic, with four million people on flexi-time arrangements, should force ministers to think twice about introducing one-size-fits-all legislation.”
