Matthew Lesh quoted in City AM

IEA Head of Public Policy Matthew Lesh has been quoted in City AM arguing that the government should avoid giving regulators more power in its Digital Markets Bill.

Matthew was quoted:

“CMA already has a lot of power, so not sure if they need that”

The article also referenced the IEA’s paper ‘Powering Up’, which argued that vague and burdensome regulations could undermine competition and innovation in the tech sector.
