Dictating words: The Culture-Control Left and the war against free speech, a new paper highlighting the threat posed to free expression by hate speech laws by IEA Head of Cultural Affairs Marc Glendening, has been featured in The Scottish Daily Express.

The article said:

“Free speech is under threat in SNP-run Scotland, according to a new report published on Tuesday. The document, ‘Dictating Words‘, has been compiled by the free market think tank the Institute of Economic Affairs.

“While much of the report focuses on UK Government policy, the Scottish Government also comes in for criticism. In particular, Humza Yousaf‘s Hate Crime and Public Order Bill creates a ‘greater tendency to constrain the liberty of individuals to express their political views,’ according to the report’s author.”
