Coronavirus twice-weekly testing a flop?


Christopher Snowdon quoted in the Daily Mail

IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon has commented on the governments £3 billion scheme for twice-a-week lateral flow tests, telling the Daily Mail he is not surprised uptake is lower than expected.

Christopher argued: “I wouldn’t expect to see massive uptake voluntarily. I don’t see why someone who doesn’t have symptoms and doesn’t have any signs [of illness] would take one“.
