At an IEA In Conversation event hosted by Director General Mark Littlewood, Northern Ireland First Minister Arlene Foster said we need “to build back stronger and build back in a way which us sustainable for the 21st century” after the pandemic.

The DUP leader also expressed concerns about the effect lockdowns have had on mental health, telling Mark Littlewood that “I fear that we will have a mental health epidemic when we come out of this”.

Her comments on the easing of lockdown restrictions were reported in the Daily Mail.
