Research by IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon has been referenced in a Scottish Daily Mail article reporting that Scottish Rugby is set to continue their partnership with Tennent’s Lager, despite the Scottish government’s plans to ban alcohol advertising at sporting events.

The article said:

“The Institute of Economic Affairs even found that a ban on adverts in stores, pubs and at sporting events would have little or no impact on consumption.”
