Julian Jessop comments for The Sun

IEA Economics Fellow, Julian Jessop, has commented on the government’s decision to reintroduce Coronavirus restrictions following the discovery of the Omicron variant.

According to Julian:

“The main short-term risk to the economy comes from the tightening of the self-isolation rules, which could trigger another pingdemic.

“This would disrupt schools and businesses in the crucial pre-Christmas period.”
