Matthew Prescod

Programmes Manager
Matthew Prescod is the Programmes Manager for the Education Department at the Institute of Economic Affairs. He oversees the IEA’s educational programmes in London, manages the annual series of sixth-form conferences, and contributes to the development of the organisation’s educational strategy.

Before joining the IEA in July 2023, Matthew served as Head Intern for the Summer intake in the IEA’s general internship programme in 2022. He holds a first-class undergraduate degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Matthew has experience working as a researcher at his university and has also worked in retail and volunteered during a gap year. His interests include international relations, British and American politics, and the international history of the twentieth-century.

Outside of work, Matthew enjoys running, reading, and travelling.
