On Tuesday 13th April, from 6-7pm, the Institute of Economic Affairs hosted journalist, author, and former table tennis player Matthew Syed for the latest in our In Conversation series of videos with senior figures from across public life. The event is chaired by IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon. Matthew is a regular pundit on radio and television, commentating on sporting, cultural and political issues. He is a columnist for The Sunday Times and presents BBC Radio 4’s Sideways. He has published six books, and was the top ranked table tennis player in England for nearly 10 years.
