Randall S. Kroszner is the Norman R. Bobins Professor of Economics, and Deputy Dean for Executive Programs at Chicago Booth. He served as a Governor of the Federal Reserve System from 2006 until 2009 and chaired the committee on Supervision and Regulation of Banking Institutions and the committee on Consumer and Community Affairs. From 2001 to 2003, he served in the White House as a Member of the US President’s Council of Economic Advisers.

Professor Kroszner has more than 100 publications, including his book with Nobel laureate Robert J. Shiller, Reforming US Financial Markets: Before and Beyond Dodd-Frank, which appeared on the Washington Post’s “Book World” political bestsellers list. His paper on corporate ownership won the Brattle Prize for best corporate finance paper in the Journal of Finance.
