The IEA Book Club will be hosting an upcoming event with Marian Tupy on his latest book, “Superabundance: The Story of Population Growth, Innovation, and Human Flourishing on an Infinitely Bountiful Planet”. The IEA will be hosting a panel debate on the motion, ‘Transgender Ideology: A threat to liberal values?’ Doors will open at 6:30pm for a 7pm start. Drinks will be served between 6:30 and the start of the debate. Debates surrounding gender identity have gained prominence in the last few years. Trans rights activists have argued (more…)

In April 2012, then-Shadow Treasurer, Joe Hockey, delivered a speech to the Institute of Economic Affairs in London entitled “The End of The Age of Entitlement”.
