The IEA will be hosting an upcoming event with Dominic Frisby on the topic of Money, Tax, and Culture. This event will take place on Tuesday 9^th April from 17:30 – 19:30 at the IEA Westminster offices. Chairing this event is Tom Clougherty (Executive Director of the IEA).

Dominic Frisby (“mercurially witty” – the Spectator) has an odd double life as financial writer and comedian. He is MoneyWeek’s main commentator on gold, commodities, currencies and cryptocurrencies. He has a popular newsletter on Substack, the Flying Frisby.

He has authored three books: Daylight Robbery: How Tax Shaped Our Past and Will Change Our Future; Bitcoin: the Future of Money? And Life After the State. In addition there is the audiobook The Shadowpunk Revolution and he has also co-wrote the internet sensation documentary Four Horsemen.

Beyond his writing, Frisby continues to perform as a stand-up comedian and regularly contributes to various media outlets as a commentator on financial and political matters. He remains a prominent voice in discussions concerning the intersection of technology, finance, and individual liberty.
