IEA In Conversation with Dominic Frisby on Money, Tax, and Culture

The IEA will be hosting an upcoming event with Dominic Frisby on the topic of Money, Tax, and Culture. This event will take place on Tuesday 9th April from 17:30 – 19:30 at the IEA Westminster offices. Chairing this event is Tom Clougherty (Executive Director of the IEA).

Dominic Frisby (“mercurially witty” – the Spectator) has an odd double life as financial writer and comedian. He is MoneyWeek’s main commentator on gold, commodities, currencies and cryptocurrencies. He has a popular newsletter on Substack, the Flying Frisby.

He has authored three books: Daylight Robbery: How Tax Shaped Our Past and Will Change Our Future; Bitcoin: the Future of Money? And Life After the State. In addition there is the audiobook The Shadowpunk Revolution and he has also co-wrote the internet sensation documentary Four Horsemen.

Beyond his writing, Frisby continues to perform as a stand-up comedian and regularly contributes to various media outlets as a commentator on financial and political matters. He remains a prominent voice in discussions concerning the intersection of technology, finance, and individual liberty.
