IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon was quoted in The Sun criticising the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s ban on drinking at their events, claiming that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption.

Christopher said:

“If the WHO believes its own unscientific rhetoric, it should go ahead with its alcohol ban.

“The people who want to force us to live a joyless existence should suffer it first.

“The problem with this policy is that it will be another reason for sensible people to turn down a job with the WHO.”
