Victoria Hewson, IEA Head of Regulatory Affairs, has published new research on non-tariff barriers to trade and the need for the UK to embark on a new trading path of unilaterally recognising other countries’ goods regulations.

Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Minister for Brexit Opportunities, welcomed Victoria’s proposals. Jacob echoed Victoria’s sentiment when he stated that “Non-tariff barriers are the delight of protectionists and should be removed wherever possible.”
