Julian Jessop quoted in The Telegraph

IEA Economics Fellow, Julian Jessop, was quoted by The Telegraph arguing against more state intervention in the energy sector in the form of bailouts for struggling energy companies. Supply shortages in conjunction with price caps has put many small energy companies at risk of going bust.

Julian argued: “The poorest households should be protected from soaring bills, but the taxpayer should not be expected to write a blank cheque to bail out energy companies“.
