It’s time to stop mandatory mask wearing

Annabel Denham writes for the Daily Mirror

In an op-ed for the Daily Mirror, IEA Director of Communications, Annabel Denham, argued that mandatory mask wearing must be scrapped on freedom day.

Although face coverings have played a vital role in the fight against the virus, contradictory mandatory mask rules should be replaced by a voluntary system, leaving mask wearing down to the individual.

Annabel said: “Neither of us should impose that choice on the other by lobbying transport operators, retailers or hospitality businesses. NO. we must have our freedoms back“.
