Teaching unions have put the needs of their members above those of pupils by failing to explore all avenues to continuing education, writes the IEA’s Director of Communication Annabel Denham.

In an article for City AM, Annabel argues that continued school closures will not only damage children’s attainment and widen the gap between children from affluent and poorer backgrounds, but will have long-term impact on our economy.
