The new lockdown restrictions in Wales, including the forced closure of non-food retail, are “draconian, pointless and outright bonkers”, argues the IEA’s Head of Public Affairs Emma Revell.

Writing for CapX, Emma argues that all the Welsh government is doing by banning the sale of “non-essential” items in shops is to force shoppers to use online retailers.
