“The impact  [of Covid restrictions] on the wedding industry, while catastrophic, is nothing compared to what is going on in wider society”, writes the IEA’s Head of Communications Emma Revell.

In a debate column for City AM, Emma argues that no, the government shouldn’t prioritise lifting restrictions on weddings, but rather should “stop picking industries to support and start making sensible policies that apply across the board”, with the priority being the normal functioning of the wider economy and society.
