A second lockdown would be catastrophic and should be avoided.

As the government considers new laws to curb social interactions in a bid to prevent accelerated spread of coronavirus, Christopher Snowdon, Head of Lifestyle Economics at the Institute of Economic Affairs, said a second nationwide lockdown would be “catastrophic”.

Quoted in the Daily Mail, Christopher added “Sweden has shown us a more sensible way to balance risk, liberty and the economy.”
