We need to be clear about the trade-offs ahead when it comes to school closures


Annabel Denham writes for The Telegraph

In an article for The Telegraph, IEA Director of Communications Annabel Denham asks whether “preventing the NHS from being overwhelmed” has been sidelined as justification for lockdowns.

She writes: “If Professor Chris Whitty is right that July was as good as it gets, that we are now back to the schools vs pubs debate, we should be clear on why these lockdowns are being imposed, and certain that the trade-offs are worth it.”
