The IEA and IIMR will jointly host the final of the Monetary Policy Prize 2019 – an essay competition which seeks to examine the role of central banking in public policy.

The title of this year’s essay competition was: “Bearing in mind the evolution of monetary policy before the financial crisis and the role of quantitative easing after the crisis, how should central banks take into account the quantity of money when determining monetary policy changes?”

Doors will open at 5.30pm and the event will start at 6pm, with an 8pm finish.
