We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
You are invited to attend the Quarter Final of The Economics Debate 2018, a national competition for universities which the IEA co-organises with UCL’s Economist’s Society each year.

University Economics Societies from all over the UK get the opportunity to participate in a debating competition covering economic issues and ideas. This year, teams from Bath, Bristol, Cambridge, Edinburgh, LSE, Oxford, UCL and Warwick universities will all compete for cash prizes, internships and awards!

There will be four debates judged by a panel including The Telegraph’s Juliet Samuel, the IEA’s Head of Education, Dr Steve Davies, and University of Buckingham Political Economy Professor, Matthias Klaes. This will be followed by a drinks reception at what’s set to be a fantastic night for learning about economic arguments and networking. So we hope to see many of you there; regulars and new faces alike!
