“A Brexit that works for consumers”

Consumer welfare is central debate surrounding the UK’s exit from the European Union. Whether or not the Government is able to secure a deal, and the nature of such a deal, will have a direct impact on the price of goods and services available to UK consumers. What should the Government prioritise in the upcoming negotiations in order to secure a good deal for consumers? Should we be looking to ensure access to the single market or should we be working to secure free trade deals globally?
