This week, ‘the cracks are beginning to appear’  in the resolve of the British public in obeying the governments lockdown strategy, says Mark Littlewood, Director-General of the Institute of Economic Affairs.

Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Mark says the Prime Minister is wrong to suggest now is the “point of maximum risk”, arguing that has passed and that the government need to be open and honest with the general public about next steps, not “[resort] to contorted metaphors or melodramatic turns of phrase.”
