In answering whether or not part-privatisation might work Kristian argues that it’s not true that the drive to make a profit comes at the expense of care. When failures do occur that hospital would be publicly revealed, it would suffer a reputational shock and that would mean lower profits. If hospitals were to cut corners, they would shoot themselves in the foot.
