Kate Andrews writes for The Spectator Coffee House

Kate Andrews, News Editor at the Institute of Economic Affairs has written for The Spectator Coffee House on the anniversary of the beginning of the NHS.

In her article Kate argues that having spiralled into perpetual crisis years ago, no one can pretend the gargantuan system of the NHS is looking great for its age. Its fragile condition has all of us worried – not least because of the millions of lives that are forced to depend on it, due to its monopoly status.
