Kristian Niemietz writes for The Independent

Kristian Niemietz, Head of Health and Welfare at the Institute of Economic Affairs has written for The Independent on the current state of the NHS and the need for reform.

In his article Kristian argues that the NHS is the country’s most overrated institution – it achieves nothing that dozens of other healthcare systems do not also achieve, and usually better. Yes we should spend more on healthcare, but that alone won’t sort out the system’s main problems.
