Kate argued that working women would be better served if the government tackled the sky-high cost of childcare in the UK, rather than pushing questionable pay gap statistics.
She also noted that we should respect the choices that women make – whether that’s to become a CEO or a stay-at-home mother. There was a time not too long ago when women didn’t have choice in such matters; to suggest they still don’t is to disrespect the individual choices women make.
