Mark Littlewood appears on BBC Radio 5 Live

Mark Littlewood, Director General at the Institute of Economic Affairs has appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss the government’s announcement that they will go ahead with HS2.

In the interview Mark argues that HS2 is colossally expensive, particularly given that it is the taxpayer who will bear the burden of the cost. If it really was a good value for money project, you would expect there to be private backing and investment for the project.
