IEA briefing on food supply is featured by the Daily Express
“A new report from the Institute for Economic Affairs (IEA) has dismissed claims a no-deal Brexit will cause hold ups at Channel ports preventing food from reaching Britons’ tables after March 29. The IEA says businesses which import goods from not only the EU but around the world have had two years to prepare themselves and a boost to border force and customs staff will be enough to “keep traffic moving to ensure that shelves are stocked”. The report added there is still enough time to ensure relevant steps can be taken to stop shop shelves from going bare.”
