Mark Littlewood appears on The Jeremy Vine Show
In the interview Mark argues that it’s unlikely the Prime Minister will get much of a united cabinet at Chequers today and it’s almost inconceivable that if they do manage to pack something together, that it will be palatable for the EU27. The prospects of a ‘no deal’ scenario seem to be a lot more likely.
If we end up with a fudged deal we may be in a situation where the UK is still a rule taker of the EU but does not have a seat at the table. If you tie yourselves to EU regulation that does make it easier to sell your products to other countries but it makes it extremely difficult to negotiate regulations with countries outside the EU that you might be wanting to sell to.
