Kate Andrews appears on The Big Questions

Kate Andrews, News Editor at the Institute of Economic Affairs has appeared on BBC’s The Big Questions to discuss the social care crisis.

During the programme Kate argues that local councils have had an unfair amount of pressure put on them to cut from social care. It makes no sense that things like the triple lock on pensions is being protected and yet money for social care is being stripped away. But raising taxes is not the answer when we are facing the biggest tax burden in thirty years.
