Anti-smoking proposals are nanny-state lunacy


Christopher Snowdon comments for The Telegraph

Commenting in The Telegraph on a government-commissioned review into smoking, IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon, argued that the review’s proposals amounted to “nanny-state extremism”.

Christopher also highlighted the impact that a smoking ban in beer gardens would have on the hospitality sector. He claimed the ban would represent “the final nail in the coffin of the pub industry”.
