Matthew is currently Policy advisor to the Director General at the IEA, with responsibilities including carrying out general research, helping to prepare briefs and aiding in the day-to-day tasks within DG Office.

Before taking on this role, Matthew was an intern at the IEA in 2021, just after finishing an MA in International Political Economy at King’s College London.
