Lord Hannan of Kingsclere is a historian, columnist and independent peer. He was a Member of the European Parliament for 21 years, where he served as the first Secretary General of the European Conservatives and Reformists from 2009 to 2018. In 2015, he founded Vote Leave. He served on the Board of Trade from 2020 to 2024, and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Francisco Marroquín. He writes regularly for the Daily Mail, Washington Examiner and Sunday Telegraph.
