Chris Snowdon appears on BBC Radio 5
In the interview, Chris explains that in 2005 there were fears that the act would lead to ’24 hour drinking’ and consequent increases in violence, crime and alcohol related diseases. However this has not been the case, levels of binge drinking are lower than they were, especially in young people. Instead the act has enabled a more diverse night-time economy that is more responsive to consumer demands.
