The Times writes about new IEA report
He says that is unlikely to have a significant impact on public education in the country. “But several thousand could create a sustainable revolution.”
It comes as sources told The Times that David Cameron and Michael Gove are warming to the idea of opening the door to profit-making providers. However, they know that would only be possible under a Conservative-only Government. A Lib Dem source said their party would not “accept the privatisation of state education”.
Mr Young makes his argument in the chapter of a report, published today by the Institute of Economic Affairs.
