Labour Reimagined: Policies for the Future of Work?
I am delighted to invite you to an upcoming IEA panel discussion, ‘Labour Reimagined: Policies for the Future of Work? ’. This event will occur on Wednesday 26th February from 18:00 – 20:30 at the IEA (2 Lord North Street, Westminster, London, SW1P 3LB).
The panel will discuss the government’s Employment Rights Bill, a piece of legislation with noble intentions but which risks piling pressure on the business community and further stifling economic growth.
Chaired by Kristian Niemietz (Editorial Director at the Institute of Economic Affairs), panellists include Annabel Denham (Columnist and Acting Comment Editor at The Telegraph); Stanley Siebert (Professor of Labour Economics at the University of Birmingham); Len Shackleton (Editorial and Research Fellow at the Institute of Economic Affairs); and Nye Cominetti (Principal Economist at the Resolution Foundation).
The discussion starts at 18:30 and will be preceded by drinks from 18:00. Spaces are limited and will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to vipevents@iea.org.uk or call 020 7799 8910.
