Caroline Ffiske studied economics and political philosophy at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.  She worked as a policy advisor to the New Zealand Government and then as a management consultant in London for ten years.  Caroline also served two terms as a Conservative councillor in Hammersmith & Fulham in London.
